Leadership Development Training
Equal Justice Works believes that a community of lawyers committed to public service can fulfill our nation’s promise of equal justice for all. You are vitally important members of this community.
Each Fall, Equal Justice Works brings together its Fellows from across the country for the Leadership Development Training (LDT), a cornerstone event designed to cultivate a strong and diverse community of practice. This year’s theme is: Movement Building: Power, Purpose & Public Service in Challenging Times. The training is designed to deepen Fellows’ understanding of movement work, strengthen their advocacy skills, and foster solidarity across issue areas and geographies. This gathering is not just an opportunity for professional growth; it is an intentionalspace for Fellows to connect deeply with one another, engage in critical reflection, and build the collective power needed to advance social justice.
This year’s LDT will welcome approximately 178 Fellow attendees, plus members of our alumni community: a diverse mix of lawyers, advocates, and changemakers with the shared goal of equity through systemic change. We look forward to welcome new members and returning members of our Equal Justice Works family.
Fellows will receive all event information directly from Equal Justice Works staff via email or the private event website on Pheedloop. This event is not open to the public.
