Miranda Sullivan

Miranda Sullivan (she/her/hers) is the Marketing and Communications Specialist at Equal Justice Works.

Miranda joined Equal Justice Works as the marketing and communications assistant after she graduated from Florida State University. She gained experience in college by working with publications in the Tallahassee area, which included a journalism internship with the English Department and shadowing a writer at the local newspaper, the Tallahassee Democrat. She also attained marketing knowledge through her work at Union Productions, the student events programming board. At Union Productions, she worked to become the director of marketing and public relations. In this role, she oversaw all campaigns that the organization took on and delegated tasks accordingly amongst her team members. She is passionate about social justice, mental health, music, and media ecology.

While at Equal Justice Works, Miranda has worked across programs and within her team to promote consistent communication and campaign reporting. She has worked from her role as a Marketing and Communications Assistant to become a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, where she supported campaign building, facilitated broader website updates, and oversaw the editorial calendar for the organization. As the Marketing and Communications Specialist, Miranda supports the organization by continuing to facilitate communication across teams, building campaign strategies, updating the organization’s website, and analyzing campaign success through data analysis.

Miranda holds a B.A. in English with a double major in International Affairs from Florida State University.
