Tara Zeiss

Tara Zeiss is a Network Manager in the Network Engagement unit at Equal Justice Works.

Tara previously worked as an Equal Justice Works Fellow and later as a Supervising Attorney, Project on Domestic Violence and Firearms at Volunteer Legal Advocates in Washington, DC. Her work there focused on representing survivors of domestic violence in Civil Protection Order, Extreme Risk Protection Order, and family law cases.

Tara received her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Civic Engagement from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her JD from the University of California, Berkeley. While in law school, she worked with a variety of organizations in California that provide legal services to low-income clients. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC.
