Victoria Tinsley

Human Resources Generalist

Victoria Tinsley is the Human Resources Generalist and Specialist at Equal Justice Works. Her responsibilities include managing the full employee lifecycle, partnering across teams to strengthen HR operations, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven workplace. She is passionate about creating equitable and consistent systems that empower employees to thrive and effectively support the organization’s mission.
Prior to joining Equal Justice Works, Victoria held progressive HR leadership roles with over a decade of experience leading and supporting HR operations across nonprofit and multi-site organizations. She has managed HR programs, advised senior leadership, employee relations, and led initiatives in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and organizational development. She has extensive experience working with HRIS platforms, payroll, and leveraging data to support informed decision-making and operational improvements.
Victoria holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She is committed to supporting mission-driven organizations and fostering workplace environments where people feel valued, supported, and equipped to make meaningful impact. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family along with two pet cats, music, makeup, and art.
