Equal Justice Works Fellow Summit
Equal Justice Works convenes Equal Justice Works Fellows each Fall in Washington, D.C. for a high-impact national gathering designed to strengthen the next generation of leaders advancing access to justice.
October 21-23 2026
This event is for Equal Justice Works Fellows and is closed to the public.
In 2026, as we celebrate 40 years of putting justice into motion, we mark this milestone with a new convening name—the Equal Justice Works Fellow Summit—reflecting the scale, ambition, and impact of this flagship convening (formerly Leadership Development Training).
The Summit brings together current Fellows from across the country, alongside members of our influential alumni network and other justice leaders, to build a dynamic, cross-sector community of lawyers and advocates tackling some of the nation’s most pressing and complex legal challenges. Through this convening, participants forge relationships, exchange ideas, and accelerate solutions that expand access to justice in communities nationwide.
More than a professional development opportunity, the Summit strengthens a national network of talented public interest leaders driving change across communities. As a central component of Equal Justice Works’ Fellow Learning and Development programming, the Summit equips participants with the connections, ideas, and resilience needed to sustain and deepen their impact.
The Summit offers a unique opportunity to support a powerful network of changemakers at a pivotal moment—helping drive measurable, lasting change for underserved communities.
