Jocelyn Paquette
Program Coordinator
Jocelyn joined Equal Justice Works after serving as an HR Communications and Process Consultant at the American Chemical Society (ACS). In that role, she supported the Organizational Effectiveness and Technology & Transformation teams by documenting process flows, developing standard operating procedures, and implementing internal communication tools to enhance transparency and engagement. She also explored the integration of generative AI into HR workflows, earning a certification in Generative AI in HR and supporting teams in adopting emerging technologies to improve efficiency and communication.
Prior to ACS, Jocelyn worked across mission‑driven organizations in roles spanning project coordination, operations, and direct service. At the NYU Democracy Project, she coordinated two fellowship programs—including one in partnership with the Brennan Center for Justice—managed applicant outreach, and supported campus‑wide civic engagement initiatives. She has also contributed to mental health‑ and youth‑focused nonprofits, including The Trevor Project, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Generation Hope, where she supported operations, crisis intervention, and resource development.
Jocelyn holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA‑PNP) with a specialization in Management and Leadership from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Art.
